Reasons for Rejection of Accreditation Application

Institutes’ applications are rejected if they are unable to meet the USBES standards regarding the qualifications of institutions owners, board of members or financial responsibility. In the event, the Accrediting Commission rejects an application for one or both of these reasons, the decision would be appealable.
Moreover, USBES reserves the right to reject an application if travel or security concerns in that country are perceived to be unsafe. This decision would not be appealable.

The failure of an education program to apply for or obtain accreditation within the set time frame by Commission does not render all educational programs, would be considered ineligible for accreditation.
